Latha Prakash is a multifaceted creator, renowned for her thought-provoking and expressive artworks. As the Chief Artist and a practicing psychotherapist, she brings a unique perspective to her art, blending emotional depth with creative vision.

Formally certified in Fine Arts, Latha has mastered her craft through years of learning under several accomplished artisans. Her artistic journey combines technical excellence with emotional insight, reflecting her background in both art and psychotherapy.

In 1999, she founded the Latha Institute of Arts, where she began training aspiring artists and art enthusiasts. Over the past 25+ years, the institute has empowered more than 20,000 students of all ages, nurturing their creativity and refining their artistic skills. Her mission has always been to democratize art, making it accessible and transformative.

What began as a coaching initiative evolved into a full-fledged art venture — Lioa Art Gallery. Today, it houses a collective of talented artists specializing in a wide range of styles including realism, figurative, landscape, contemporary, modern, abstract, and traditional Tanjore paintings. Under her leadership, the gallery has become a vibrant space that bridges classical heritage with modern expression.

A hallmark of Latha’s work is her ability to create customized art pieces that reflect the individual needs, emotions, and aesthetic preferences of her clients.
